Oi, tudo bem?

I am Carolina Bomeny, an international student from Brazil studying Culture & Politics and Journalism at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. What exactly is a Culture and Politics degree? When I find out I'll let you — and my parents — know.

I am an aspiring journalist, writer, and media producer.  I'm particularly interested in how successful storytelling can engage audiences at a time when so many people are tuning out of the news.

Over the past three years I have written for a former Ambassador, for PBS' second-largest station, WETA, for the Georgetown Voice, and for classes taught by some of the best journalist-professors at Georgetown.

In my free time you can find me listening to every The Moth episode, biking around DC, and cooking home recipes in my dorm's common room kitchen.
